SHE won Pop Idol in 2003 and now Michelle McManus is a Pope Idol after singing a new hymn for the Pontiff.
The Scottish star was chosen to perform "Because", by Iona-based hymnwriter Rev John Bell, to mark the 60th anniversary of aid charity SCIAF.
Michelle visited Rome to meet Pope Leo along with guests including Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger.
