Taskmaster Thomas will put Spurs on the run

TOTTENHAM'S players are going to have a ball in pre-season - once they have navigated Thomas Frank's time trial.

That is the message from former West Brom defender Martin Albrechtsen, who played for Frank at Brondby and insists pre-season training under his fellow Dane was a far cry from what he experienced in the Premier League.

The aim of Frank's “maximal aerobic 1km speed test” is to run 10 lengths of the pitch in around three minutes and 15 seconds.
