LIVERPOOL skipper Virgil van Dijk has slammed the racist abuse aimed at Antoine Semenyo as a “disgrace” - and insists football must educate the next generation to stamp it out.
The Reds' 4-2 win Anfield was paused in the first half after the Bournemouth striker reported abuse to referee Anthony Taylor, sparking Premier League and Merseyside Police investigations.
Liverpool later said: “We condemn racism and discrimination in all forms - it has no place in society or football.”
