The Tour de 4 is Sir Chris's charity that raises funds for cancer charities.
It has reached £1.75million and this weekend, as the event takes place at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow today, he hopes it will break the £2million barrier. Indeed, his own campaigning and work has not just raised money but helped saved hundreds of men's lives.
His message to get checked for prostate cancer has borne immense fruit and no more so than during the World Darts Championships.
About 130,000 additional men accessed the risk checker on Prostate Cancer's UK website. In just 30 seconds they answered three crucial questions.
