Cash-grab Celtic are in a diminished state and are now using Henrik name to financially exploit the support they've already milked for all they're worth

- HUGH KEEVINS

ONLY cash-grab Celtic could launch a new line in Henrik Larsson-branded clothing at a time when the a**e is hanging out of the team’s backside on the park.

Henrik is, for some, Celtic's greatest ever player but his time has come and gone.

A bit like the board of directors who have overseen the decline of a team they could have strengthened but didn't.

A team they could have funded all the way to the Champions League but didn't.

They tried to explain all of that away in a statement nobody could understand, far less accept.

Now they are cynically trying to use Larsson’s place in Celtic's history to financially exploit a support they have already milked for all they're worth while overseeing a severe downturn in fortunes.

It’s a bit like the thinking behind tomorrow's meeting of the Celtic Fan Collective and whoever the club sends along to meet them.

That gathering was only arranged when the fans agreed to abandon their plan to stay silent for the first 29 minutes of Thursday evening's Europa League game, a minute for each day their request for talks passed without a reply.

Only unreasonable people resist the invitation to a change of mind.
