It's a waste of time trying to mess with City

GAMES UP GUNNERS

RUBEN DIAS has told bitter rivals Arsenal they're wasting their time indulging in childish mind games with Manchester City.

The title contenders were involved in two ill-tempered meetings last season which sparked numerous controversial incidents.

Arsenal stopper Gabriel's scrap with Erling Haaland in the 2-2 draw at the Etihad resulted in the City striker throwing the ball at the head of the Brazilian and having a verbal bust-up with Miles Lewis-Skelly.

Gabriel vowed to take revenge in the return game, and led the mocking of Pep Guardiola's men during a thumping 5-1 win.

The defender celebrated the opening goal in front of Haaland, while Lewis-Skelly imitated the striker's goal celebration when he notched Arsenal's third.

It promises to be another explosive encounter when the pair clash at the Emirates today.
