IT'S the campest, most outrageous show of the year - and the nation has been gripped by Eurovision fever once again.

The annual TV song contest, held last night in Basel, always throws up surprises.

It has been the launchpad for pop superstars and stellar careers. Here are 10 of the biggest moments from Eurovision down the years...

LULU - 1969

SCOTLAND'S favourite wee shouty person was the star of the show when it was held in Madrid, although Lulu, singing Boom Bang-a-Bang, shared the win with three others. There was a four-way tie to be the winner and, with no tiebreaker rules, they were all declared winners.
