How feel-good music puts brakes on car sickness

SUFFERERS of motion sickness will know all too well how feelings of nausea can linger even after movement has stopped.

So they will welcome research revealing a way to speed up their recovery — listening to happy music.

A study found one minute listening to joyful tunes appeared to ease motion sickness more than soft or passionate music.

Sad tunes, meanwhile, were found to be worse for car sickness than silence.
