SYNCHRONISED DIVING: GB's first medal is landed
DIVERS Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen plunged into the Olympic history books after winning Team GB's first opening day medal in two decades.
The dynamic duo claimed a stunning bronze in Paris in the women's synchronised 3m springboard with a score of 302.28 following a meltdown from the Australians.
It was also a first Olympic medal for Team GB in women's diving for 64 years.
And the 'crazy' finish left both the Great Britain women and their Australian rivals in tears for very different reasons.
Harper and Mew Jensen were overcome with emotion, after realising an Aussie blunder had secured them a third-place finish.
