THE Home Office has been slammed for having an in-house beauticians offering civil servants cut-price massages, waxing and manicures.
The private salon is located within the Home Office’s Marsham Street building in Westminster and is not accessible to the public.
Opened in 2009, 2MS Beauty Clinic operates during work hours, offering civil servants respite from the many crises facing the department.
In a week in which migrant Channel crossings surpassed 25,000 for the year to date, the Sunday Express can reveal Home Office mandarins can enjoy Brazilian waxes from midday.
Fifteen-minute spray tans are also available for just £24.50 and are said to look “so natural that clients can continue their day and no one will know that they have had a spray tan”.
Swedish massages are also on offer for as little as £18, with the exclusive business promising to help reduce “emotional and physical stress”.
In addition, Home Office staff benefit from cut-price treatments, with other local salons charging up to 50% more for the same procedures.
