IT was a spectacular return to Blackpool's Tower Ballroom for Angela Rippon last night.

For the first time since she hosted Come Dancing 40 years ago, she took to the famous springy floor for Strictly's annual road trip.
The veteran star said being a competitor rather than a presenter was "a once in a lifetime experience".
And the 79-year-old got a standing ovation after her American Smooth to Tea For Two by Ella Fitzgerald with pro partner Kai Widdrington.
And a thrilled Anton Du Beke said: "Oh Ange, let me tell you that was right up my street.
It was so elegant, sophisticated and gorgeous. I am so delighted you got to do it."
