ARTETA REVELS IN THE SILENCE

LEANDRO TROSSARD'S late leveller broke Chelsea hearts to rescue a point for Arsenal.

The Blues were on course for a cracking win after Cole Palmer's penalty and Mykhailo Mudryk's sliced cross had put them in a comfortable lead.

But a howler from Robert Sanchez in the Blues goal gifted the ball to Declan Rice, who duly beat him with a lovely, long-range finish.

And once Arsenal sensed a draw was there for the taking they put down the hammer with substitute Trossard stabbing home at the far post.

Boss Mikel Arteta said he was delighted to find the dressing-room silent rather than celebratory when he returned at the final whistle.

He added: "I really liked going into the dressing-room and it's really quiet, after drawing 2-2 with Chelsea and coming back from 2-0 down, because I know that they wanted more. That's the positive."
