Golfers swing into action to raise £3,365

STEPPING Hill Hospital's neonatal unit received a kind donation thanks to fundraisers at Bramall Park Golf Club, as a gesture of thanks for their care for family members 12 years ago.

Rosie Day, outgoing Lady Captain at the club, said her twin grand-daughters Phoebe and Tamsin Hadfield were born premature at the hospital back in 2013.

Rosie wanted to give thanks for the excellent care they received from the neonatal team back then, ensuring they received the care and support they needed.

As a result, Rosie named the unit as the recipient of the club's 'Charity of the Year', and set about a series of fundraising activities.
