Show spreads cheer

Stirling Observer

|

December 19, 2025

A Stirling theatre's latest production is aiming to spread some festive cheer to youngsters and their families -aided by a group of very peculiar guests.

- STUART MCFARLANE

The show, named 'The Chilliest Penguin in the World,' has been designed specifically for children aged six and under, and tells the story of Pip the penguin who tries to discover the secret of staying warm.

In the lead up to the opening, Macrobert Arts Centre dispatched small toy penguins-introduced as Pip's inquisitive relatives-to nurseries and childminding groups throughout Forth Valley.
