Event in village explores climate change
Stirling Observer
|July 11, 2025
Whether people are ready for climate change on the Carse of Stirling was the question raised at a recent community event in Gargunnock.
-
Carse of Stirling Partnership (CoSP) organised the event in the village community centre recently, which involved a number of special guests.
An audience of more than 40 people gathered to hear from experts from Forest and Land Scotland, Forth Rivers Trust and CoSP and to be inspired by the Stirling Makar, Kevin P Gilday, local poet Charlie Gracie and photographer and film maker Michael Prince.
Carse community representatives also attended, generating plenty of ideas aimed at helping communities and others prepare the Carse for the impact of climate change.
A spokesperson said: "We know it's happening and we still have time to act.
