Beauty spot Falls victim to litter louts

Shocked resident clears mountain of rubbish

As the summer weeks — and weather — rolls on, a Callander resident has urged visitors and locals to clean up after them following a litter pick which saw him collect almost 30 kilogrammes of rubbish.

The local, who doesn't wish to be named, was walking the Bracklinn Falls with his wife when he noticed the level of litter gathered around the popular hotspot - and decided to do something about it.

He went to get some bags from home and scoop up as much of the left-behind rubbish and waste as possible — shocking even himself with the amount being collected.
