400 locals sought energy advice

More than 400 households across Stirling have sought out advice with energy problems over the last 12 months to April, according to new figures.

The data has been released by Advice Direct Scotland, which operates the national advice service energyadvice. scot - with problems including bills, debts, and disconnections, as soaring energy prices and the cost-of-living crisis squeezed family budgets.

It reveals a total of 405 complaints and the charity provided 90 pieces of general energy advice and addressed 315 specific concerns.

Billing issues were the most frequently reported problem, making up a third (33 per cent) of all cases.
