VC SKUAST-Jammu inaugurated two-day Startup Outreach event under JKCIP

JAMMU: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) inaugurated a two-day Startup Outreach Event under the Jammu & Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement in Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP) at its Chatha Campus.

The event also featured the prize distribution ceremony of the Her-Harvest Ideathon, celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship among aspiring agripreneurs, particularly women.
Prof. B.N. Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-J, highlighted the university's pivotal role in JKCIP implementation.
He elaborated on the project's four core verticals: upscaling collectivization, startup promotion and incubation, promotion of niche agri-crops, and development of horticulture clusters and value chains.
