The annual Amarnath Yatra, one of India's most revered Hindu pilgrimages, has commenced with a renewed sense of spiritual fervor, elaborate security measures, and growing international attention.

As thousands of devotees from across the country and abroad begin their journey to the sacred Amarnath cave shrine nestled in the Himalayas, this year's Yatra is not just a religious event-it has become a focal point of national pride, international curiosity, and regional preparedness.
The Amarnath Yatra is an age-old journey that takes pilgrims through some of the most breathtaking yet challenging terrain in the Kashmir Valley to reach the holy eave, where a naturally formed ice lingam of Lord Shiva is worshipped. Pilgrims can undertake the journey via two routes: the traditional 48-km Nunwan-Pahalgam path and the shorter but steeper 14-kin Baltal route.
