Randhawa conducts inspection of Nanak Nagar Nallah; Calls for immediate action to protect families ahead of Monsoon

Ch. Vikram Randhawa, MLA of Bahu Constituency, on Tuesday led a detailed inspection of the severely encroached and poorly maintained Nallah in the Nanak Nagar area, which has become a growing concern for thousands of local residents.

He was accompanied by the Joint Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), senior officials from the Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED), Ex-Corporator Ajay Gupta, and prominent local dignitaries.
The visit was aimed at assessing the ground reality ahead of the monsoon season, as the condition of the Nallah poses serious health and safety risks to the surrounding population due to frequent overflow, waterlogging, and poor sanitation.
