MLA Sunderbani warns of mass protest if funds are not returned for repair of road

SUNDERBANI: In a strong message to the UT government, Kalakote-Sunderbani MLA, Randhir Singh, has threatened a mass protest if funds allocated for the repair of roads in Sunderbani are not returned by 9th July.

Addressing the media in Sunderbani, MLA Randhir Singh expressed his frustration over the allocation of funds meant for the City and Town Project, which were intended to repair roads damaged by the recent rains. According to Singh, these funds, which were allocated at the divisional level, were unfairly directed to the Nowshera constituency, leaving Sunderbani residents without the necessary resources for road repairs. In a symbolic move, MLA Randhir Singh, along with local residents, submitted a written memorandum to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Sunderbani, urging the state government to address the issue.
