Minister Satish calls for synergy to strengthen MSME Ecosystem in J&K

JAMMU: The Jammu & Kashmir Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in collaboration with the FICCI FLO, Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh Chapter, organized the MSME Day Mahotsav on Friday at ICAI Bhawan, Canal Road, Jammu.
The event aimed to celebrate and empower the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector - the backbone of India's economic growth.
The event was graced by Satish Sharma, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs; Transport; Science & Technology; Information Technology; Youth Services & Sports; and ARI & Trainings Departments, as the Chief Guest.
Guests of Honour included Naser Ali, Joint Director (Jammu), Industries & Commerce Department.
Special Guests present were Veenn Ji Koul, IEDS, Assistant Director, MSME Jammu, and Ashutosh Abrol, KAS, Accounts Officer at the Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries, Jammu.
In his welcome address, CA Sourav Pargal, Chairman of the J&K Branch of ICAI, emphasized the pivotal role MSMEs play in shaping the nation’s economy and generating employment at the grassroots level.
He highlighted that Chartered Accountants, with their financial expertise and advisory skills, are natural partners in guiding MSMEs toward structured growth and compliance.
