Arya Samaj Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, on Sunday celebrated its 47th Foundation Day by organizing a grand religious programme marked with devotion and spiritual fervour.

The event commenced with a sacred Yagya, followed by soulful Bhajans and enlightening Vedic Pravachans. Prior to the Yagya, Pandit Ranvijay Shastri explained the spiritual and environmental significance of Yagya-highlighting how the burning of odoriferous substances with pure ghee in the holy fire, while chanting Vedic mantras, purifies the atmosphere. Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organisation), BJP J&K, addressed the gathering and spoke about the founding of Arya Samaj in 1875 by the great reformer Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati.
