Rapist plied teenage girl with alcohol

A MAN plied a teenage girl with alcohol before raping her in his flat after promising he would call her a taxi, a court has heard.

A judge told the 48-year-old defendant that his victim had been at a stage in her life when she was “entering the adult world and experimenting with alcohol” and said he had an “ulterior motive” in supplying the teen with drink.

Swansea Crown Court heard that in December last year Lukman Oyofo gave a teenage girl he had met in Swansea city centre a bottle of vodka.

After this, he got the girl and a friend to go back to his city centre flat on the pretence that he was going to call them a taxi.

Once in the flat, Oyofo sexually assaulted and raped one of the teenagers while her friend was nearby but “incapacitated” through alcohol.
