Motorbiker rode on pavement to avoid police

SHOCKING footage shows the moment a motorcyclist mounted a pavement, putting pedestrians and other motorists in serious danger, in a botched attempt to evade police.

The biker proceeded to weave through traffic on busy city roads in Swansea, drive on the wrong side of the road, and even navigated a packed car park in the city, according to South Wales Police.

The force has since released video footage showing how officers finally managed to stop the biker with the help of a helicopter overhead.
