Holywell miss out on chance to go top as weather plays havoc with fixtures

THE weather was the winner over the weekend as only four JD Cymru North and two JD Cymru South matches were able to be played.

But the 3-1 home win by Rhyl over Holywell Town was significant in it stopped the former North champions from overtaking league leaders Llandudno, who were in Nathaniel MG Cup action.
Rhyl rocked their visitors’ three goals in 13 minutes in a second half purple patch after the Wellmen had hit the front thanks to Jamie Breese' 17th goal in all competitions this season.
