LLANDOVERY head coach Euros Evans was pleased to pick up a maximum six-point haul against 14-man Bridgend at Church Bank - but expects much more to come from his side.

Llandovery reclaimed top spot in Super Rygbi Cymru with victory over the Ravens.

Four converted first-half tries put the hosts in control at the break and ultimately gave Bridgend too big a mountain to climb.

Evans said: "First half we controlled the game quite well, second half was just a bit messy with lots of penalties that affected the quality of the game.

"But delighted to have the six points.

"I don't think we've quite clicked yet, so hopefully in the next couple of games we can put a full 80 minutes in and get a really positive performance.

"Hopefully we'll do that in Cardiff next week. It'll be a big challenge but one we'll look forward to."
