PLOUGH Colts recorded their first Swansea Senior League Premier Division win of the season in emphatic fashion with a 6-0 win over Brynawel.

Niall O'Donnell, returning from a spell with Cwmamman United, got the hosts off to the best possible start on 15 minutes. Ashley Curtis doubled the hosts’ lead before second-half goals from Zak Davies (2) Coby Phillips and Chris Jones sealed a 6-0 win ahead of Plough Colts hosting Penlan Club in the West Wales Intermediate Cup on Saturday.

Treboeth United, who didn’t lose a league match in their Division 1-winning season in 2024-2025, came out on top against the side that joined them in the top flight, Birchgrove Colts.

United took the lead through a Daniel Lockie penalty and the odds swung in their favour when Jordan Edwards was sent off for the visitors. But Jake O'Grady equalised for the 10-men but a Callum Davies winner settled it for Treboeth United, who now sit second in the table, six points behind Waunarlwydd Galaxy.

‘And the pacesetters kept up their charge with a 3-1 win over last year's champions, Port Tennant Colts, who are now 11 points off the pace, although Colts have played two matches fewer.

Christian Jenkins put the hosts 1-0 ahead in the 15th minute, Liam Owen doubled the lead in the 53rd minute and once Rhys Harris put them hosts 3-0 up there was no way back for the Colts who responded in the 72nd minute through Aiden Chappell Smith.

In Division 1, FC Bonymaen’s promotion charge continued to gather momentum with a 5-2 win over Llangyfelach and they now sit a point behind second-placed Talycoppa.
