THE Celebrity Traitors has well and truly kicked off and is already serving up some unforgettable television.

From Alan Carr's dramatic unmasking to fellow Traitors Cat Burns and Jonathan Ross plotting in the tower, Charlotte Church digging her own grave, and Clare Balding's costly error in the opening challenge, this series looks set to surpass all expectations.
And Wednesday’s launch episode was a big hit, attracting more than six million viewers, the BBC said.
The reality gameshow achieved a peak viewership of 6.5 million on Wednesday, averaging 6.1 million across the episode.
At its peak, the show achieved a 52.7% viewer share, which averaged at 46.4% across the episode.
The hit BBC murder mystery first aired in 2022.
