Aldi store plan wins approval

PLANS to build a new Aldi supermarket at a brownfield site near Bridgend have been approved.

The proposals will see a new 1,900 square metre Aldi food store built on land off Princess Way, Brackla, alongside improved drainage, landscaping and other associated works.

They will also provide 118 car parking spaces, including four disabled bays, nine parent and child bays and four electric vehicle charging points.
