MPs vow to tackle SEND budget 'crisis'

LEADING Lincolnshire Reform politicians have vowed to tackle the 'crisis' for children with special needs.

Boston and Skegness MP Richard Tice, who is also deputy leader of Reform UK, told the Local Democracy Reporting Service that the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) system is in urgent need of reform.

Mr Tice said that he has launched a working group, led by the Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire Dame Andrea Jenkyns (Reform UK), to address some of these issues.

He said: "Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is a very important part of education and it's a significant part of council budgets.
