Chris Wilder recently returned to Sheffield United for a third spell as manager - just a few months after being sacked at Bramall Lane.
Here, we look at the bosses who have seemingly been unable to keep away from a club...
Jimmy Sirrel had three spells as Notts County manager, the first between Novemebr 1969-October 1975. Returning in October 1978, he led the Magpies into the old First Division in 1980-81. before leaving in June 1982. A third spell followed at Meadow Lane between May 1985-May 1987.
Howard Kendall had three spells as Everton boss, the first from May 1981-June 1987 which included two First Division titles (1984-85, 1986-87), the European Cup Winners Cup (1984-85) and the FA Cup (1983-84). Leaving to manage Athletico Bilbao, he returned in November 1990 for another three-year spell. His third stint saw him win just 11 Premier League matches in 1997-98.
