More children are missing out

Four months is a long time in politics, but even longer and potentially life changing if you are a child waiting to hear how the Government is going to change your life at school via its much-anticipated Education White Paper.

We have therefore published our own white paper to show how the two million children who struggle with talking and understanding words can thrive in school and beyond.

Successive governments have failed these children and the numbers to prove it are stark.

Almost a quarter of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities have speech and language difficulties, yet they remain overlooked.
