Council chiefs are launching a public consultation on services they provide in the face of a £10million budget shortfall.
South Tyneside Council is inviting residents to have their say on the future of discretionary services - leisure centres, youth services, welfare support, health initiatives, and Community Area Forum schemes – as it aims to set a “fair and sustainable” budget for 2026-27.
