Coffee drinkers are full of beans for fundraising

South Tyneside coffee drinkers have proved themselves full of beans and good heartby taking part in a national annual event to boast cancer research and support.

They joined fellow connoisseurs at events around the borough in backing Macmillan Cancer Support's 35th yearly fundraising Coffee Morning.

At Boldon and Cleadon Community Library, they sipped their favourite hot drink and enjoyed cups of tea and freshly baked homemade savoury delights.

Bosses at the Boker Lane-based centre, in East Boldon, said they had long got behind the initiative and were delighted to do so again.
