Appeal backs refusal of HMO

COUNCILLORS' refusal of a proposed house in multiple occupation (HMO) has been backed at appeal.

Last year, North Lincolnshire Council's planning committee twice rejected a proposed HMO in Jackson Road, Scunthorpe, at a property which used to be split between a flat and a grocery store. The first application saw a 10-bed HMO refused, and a revised eight-bed HMO proposal was rejected in September.
