ABERDEEN v KILMARNOCK
MATS KNOESTER says it's imperative that Aberdeen make an immediate return to European football.
The Reds have still to play away to Sparta Prague during the week but Thursday's defeat to Strasbourg ended their hopes of progressing through the group stages of the Conference League.
The Scottish Cup winners made a slow start domestically but are on an unbeaten league run which has got them back within sight of European qualification spots.
Knoester has admitted that is now the minimum Pittodrie goal and hopes that will kick on with a home win against Kilmarnock this afternoon.
The defender said: "We have to keep doing what we've been doing in the last few weeks in the league so it is important to win against Kilmarnock.
"Of course it's important and our aim is to get back to Europe. To do that we have to get into the top six and fight for Europe."
