JAMES BREE was Southampton’s cup king once again.

- BY STEVE JUDGE

The Saints right-back netted three consecutive winning goals in last season's Carabao Cup.

Now he has switched his attention to the FA Cup after returning to the club last month following a loan spell at Charlton.

Bree came off the bench to head in the 109th-minute clincher - his first ever goal in the FA Cup. And it has improved his chances of earning a new contract at the club at the end of the season.

Boss Tonda Eckert said: "I do not know if there is something special about James in cup games. In general he has been very good since he has come back to the club.

"I'm very happy with how he is contributing right now."

Bree's strike was rough on Leicester's Oliver Skipp who scored with an overhead kick worthy of winning any cup tie.
