Date is set for Sandie Peggie to face union in tribunal

SANDIE PEGGIE'S legal team have given a major update on her case, with a date set for her tribunal against the Royal College of Nursing trade union.
This case will proceed to a seven-day final hearing in Dundee starting on September 23, 2026. The A&E nurse alleges the RCN failed to support her when she was suspended by NHS Fife in 2024 after a changing room spat with transgender Dr Beth Upton. During a shift at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy on Christmas Eve 2023, she told her colleague - a biological male - he shouldn't be in a women-only space. Dr Upton complained he had been bullied and harassed
