Yusuf back with Reform after quitting as chairman

ZIA YUSUF has returned to Reform UK just 48 hours after sensationally quitting his role as party chairman.

The 38-year-old Scot said his decision to step down last week was “born of exhaustion” as he had been working for 11 months with “barely a single day off”.

Mr Yusuf will head the “Doge” unit to root out waste in the 10 councils Reform UK leads and will take part in making policy, raising funds and representing the party in the media.

His shock departure followed newly elected Reform MP Sarah Pochin’s challenge to Sir Keir Starmer during Prime Minister’s Questions last Wednesday to ban the burka.
