Yet another firebomb attack as cops arrest six suspects in raids
Scottish Daily Express
|May 10, 2025
THE gang war which has gripped Scotland in recent months has erupted again with yet another firebomb attack, this time at a £1.75million home as people enjoyed a barbecue in the garden.
It happened as six more arrests were announced by police investigating the feud between underworld syndicates.
The latest attack occurred early on Thursday evening when a Land Rover Defender was torched on the driveway of a house in Edinburgh belonging to David McMillan, who has suffered two firebombings at his luxury home in the past six years.
He is a close friend of drugs king-pin Mark Richardson, who is at the centre of the dispute.
‘The fire is being treated as wilful’
An associate of the 37-year-old capital gangster is understood to have duped a rival into handing over a £500k stash of cocaine using fake notes, leading to the seller, a Dubai-based underworld figure, ordering reprisals against Richardson and all his associates.
