Waspi women ready for fresh legal challenge

LAWYERS for Women Against State Pension Inequality are launching a new bid to win compensation for those affected by the hike in their state pension age.
Labour announced in January that the women would not receive cash, but campaigners insist around 3.5 million women born in the 1950s face hardship after not being properly informed that their pension age was being raised to bring it in line with men's.

Waspi's legal team will cite “legal errors” with the government, give its lawyers 14 days to respond and could take their battle to the High Court.
