FATHER Ted creator Graham Linehan said he wanted to “destroy” the anonymity of an “abusive” trans activist, a court heard yesterday.

The Irish comedy writer, 57, said his life was made “hell” by trans activists, including one who he is accused of harassing, adding the complainant was a “young soldier in the trans activist army”.

Mr Linehan is accused of harassing trans woman Sophia Brooks, 18, with the prosecution alleging he “relentlessly” posted abusive comments about her on social media last October.
