Scots rider in horror collision at Donington circuit

A TOP Scots motorcycle racer is in an induced coma after a horror crash at a major circuit.

Callum Grigor came off his bike during the Pirelli National Superstock Championship race at Donington Park on Saturday.

Grigor, from Wishaw, North Lanarkshire crashed during the first lap of the race on the approach to Goddards Corner at the Leicestershire circuit.

The 27-year-old Scot then collided with fellow British rider Nathan Harrison. Officials at the East Midlands racetrack immediately stopped the race as marshals and emergency services tended to Mr Grigor who was found to be in a “serious condition”.
