Sparta gaffer: I don't want to talk about Rangers job

SPARTA PRAGUE boss Brian Priske refused to be drawn on how close he came to landing the Rangers job in the summer.

The Danish boss, who takes on Aberdeen tonight in the Conference League, was interviewed for the Ibrox position over the summer before they went down to the road of appointing Russell Martin, who lasted just four months.

Priske (below) was on the final shortlist but has insisted he is more than happy with the way things have turned out and is now in his second spell in charge of Sparta Prague.

The 48-year-old said: “I don't like to comment on different jobs or the interviews | had.

“| decided to come back to Prague when the opportunity came and I'm very happy with this.
