The legendary singer, 78, said he felt “incredibly betrayed” after proposals to force AI companies to disclose what material they were using to develop their programmes were rejected in Parliament.
The House of Lords wanted to amend the Data (Use and Access) Bill to include stronger protections against AI. But last week MPs voted 297 to 168 to oppose the change.
