SCOTT: PLAIN AND SIMPLE, DARK BLUES MUST SORT OUT DEFENCE

While the Dens Park outfit are the Premiership's joint-third top scorers this season, they have the worst defence in the league having shipped 10 more than bottom side St Johnstone.

That perplexing imbalance was demonstrated to devastating effects on Saturday evening as Tony Docherty's shellshocked side surrendered a two-goal lead in the final 15 minutes to lose 4-3 to Rangers.

It's a loss that leaves them perched just five points above Saints heading into the final seven games of the season.

But Tiffoney said: "It's just the simple things. The last goal we lost was very poor.

We just need to tidy up the simple things defensively and we'll be OK.

"We've played against a Rangers team that is very good, no denying that. They're flying in the Europa League.

"We've scored three goals against them, so we can take the positives from it.
