SCOTS NO.2 ADMIRES TEENAGER'S CONFIDENCE
Scottish Daily Express
|March 18, 2025
JOHN CARVER insists there's nothing wrong with Lennon Miller believing he can become the best player in the Scotland squad.
The 18-year-old Motherwell midfielder won a first call-up from Steve Clarke for the Greece double-header and raised eyebrows last week when he claimed he could be “the best player there in a couple of months”.
National team assistant Carver reckons it probably wasn't the wisest statement of intent from Miller, who was the subject of a failed £2.5million bid from Udinese in January and has a list of other suitors including Celtic, Eintracht Frankfurt and Southampton.
