JOHN MCGLYNN says Ryan Edwards was introduced to life at Falkirk with a "boom", but his stay may not necessarily be over in an instant.

The former Dundee United captain, 32, was brought in last week as cover in central defence, having not played since April when in India.

Edwards, above, made the Bairns' bench in their 1-1 draw with Livingston last Saturday and the international break allows him to ramp things up.
