'Rival to Coca-Cola made me millions'

A BUSINESSWOMAN who launched a rival to Coca-Cola has sold some two billion cans globally in just over 18 months.

Aykiz Shah launched Salaam Cola in October 2023, spending £160 on sample cans.

Last year, she reached a turnover of £5.1million in Europe, £1.6m from the UK alone.

She used social media to promote her firm and its charitable missions amid product boycotts over the Israel-Gaza war.
